"I really enjoy the taste of this powder mixed with just plain old water. It is quite bitter though; so for those of you that are picky about flavors you might want to go with a product in capsule form."

"I'm not fond of the taste of a lot of herbs and the like but I don't mind the taste of maca at all. I put it in juice after a workout along with some glutamine and aside from the powdery texture, which never completely dissolves, it's fine. It's definitely a sort of malted flavor. I'm glad I read the review rather than going by just the one star. I wondered if perhaps there was a problem with this company's maca or something. Fantastic adaptogen (great for stamina) and loaded with potassium so great for after workouts. When I don't take this stuff I can feel the difference"

"My advice is to use the capsules. They are much more pleasant to take. Do not believe the statement "it has a nutlike taste" It is godawful terrible! I hold my nose and choke it down in water. Will continue to use Maca as it has many benefits, but will use capsules henceforth. Chumash"
