Just OK,

"Not bad for the price, but there are much better products out there for just a little more. Have had for about a month, and it seems like every other time it is impossible to get the top screwed on tight enough so as not to leak. But for the most part, it does the job."

"This shaker LOOKED great but it leaks badly around the screw on top so it is basically useless to drink out of. We are back to using old Gatorade bottles rather than this."

Ok, for the price,

"I have a problem with the shaker leaking. The screen is great and helps to mix my drinks very well. But the liquid tends to leak around the lid most of the time. Not too bad for the price--I just try to hold it closed as much as possible during shaking to minimize the problem."

For the price, a great shaker,

"After the first couple of uses, there was a leak from where the lid screws onto the cup. This is typical with almost any shaker cup. I fixed the leak by screwing the lid on tighter. At first, it seems you screw on the lid securely, but once you turn it until it stops, cover the lid with your entire hand and turn it with uniform pressure on all sides of the lid. It's easy to clean and fairly inexpensive."

Works well, minor quibbles,
May 11, 2008
By Mobocracy

"This does a good job of mixing protein drinks. I use it with 1/4 cup ON Whey Protein and about 12-14 ounces of skim milk and 6 ice cubes, and my drinks are always smooth and even, no clumps or sludge like you get with a spoon.
Easily survives top rack dishwashing. The wide mouth makes adding powder and ice easy, and the flip-top cap allows you to pour the finished drink without getting lumps or ice in your glass.
The minor quibbles: The threads that hold the lid on are a tad course and easy to cross-thread, which will result in dribbles or leaks. It does dribble once in a while even if you don't cross thread it, but we're talking a few dime-sized drops, not major leaks as another review stated. Shake over the sink and its a non-factor, if it happens at all.
The graduated scale is hard to read on the side, I use an industrial Sharpie periodically to mark my "add milk to" line.
Overall, a great value for the price and way less hassle than using a blender or a hand-mixer and faster and more effective than a spoon."

Don't waste your money,

"The cup is a joke and not worth the money. Fluid leaks from the top virtually everytime I skake it. A shaker cup that can't withstand moderte shaking?? You are better off buying a generic tuppaware bottle from your local 99 cents store."
