Grandpa's Wonder Pine Tar Soap is one of the world's great soaps. Excellent for bathing, showering, shaving and shampooing. Many loyal user have been telling us for generations how "wonder"ful it cleans, moisturizes and deodorizes. They have described it as being helpful in removing the scales of Psoriasis, Dandruff, Eczema and other skin irritations. There are no added colors or fragrances to mask the rich brown color and distinctive scent of natural Pine Tar Oil.

"My husband has used this soap for about a month, and he likes it for washing and it doesn't make him smell bad. Although, it stinks up the bathroom and smells like something is burning."

"I'm a little disappointed in this product, the bath-size Gandpa's Pine Tar Soap. It doesn't have nearly the aroma of the smaller size bars that I'm used to, and that is one of things I like best about Pine Tar soap. These bigger bars smell sort of chemically and only slighty like pine tar. I wonder if they are seconds of some sort. On the plus side, the soap works like the Pine Tar soap I'm used to, it just doesn't smell as nice."

Stop the itch!,
October 29, 2008
By Knossosfrom Fort Myers, FL
"I use this after gardening, and when I feel I need to feel really clean and have clean skin. I use it to wash my hands when I have gotten into some mess and want my hands to be washed really clean. Pine tar is good for athlete's feet, but I don't have that. I think it is good for itch all over the skin, even my face. Pinetar soap should be in every house, all the time, always on hand, when you want to get really clean and can't settle for less."

"This manufacturer hard mills his soap so that it lasts a good long time. I have had others that melt so fast they are not a good value. I have been using this soap since 1976 and it has always pleased me. I buy it as a novelty item for Christmas gifts."

"I am often troubled by rashes and this soap is effective in clearing things up. Pine tar is a natural substance and has therapeutic properties. I am a convert and always use this soap. My family uses it also."

"The smell doesn't appeal to anyone in our house. Not even to visiting cousins. However, I bought it for my 4 year old who has really scaly, itchy skin and it does seem to be softening her skin. It hasn't irritated her skin after a bath and that's a plus. For the price, it works...and smell isn't all of what life's about, is it?"

"Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap is a great soap for people who enjoy using quality natural care products. It is very strong smelling however, and can be a little bit tough on sensitive skin. My husband enjoyed using it, but he said it made him a bit itchy on his back...The soap is long lasting and well priced. I have tried all of Grandpa's soaps and they all work very well-full of natural ingredients, which are safe for you. My personal favorites are the Baking Soda and the Indian Corn Soap."

"From the title, I was hoping this soap might have the tangy, manly smell of sap from a freshly cut pine tree. Instead, it smells like smoke; right away it reminded me of the smell of a forest fire, or of a house that burned down. I like a soap that has a good masculine smell, and this one is okay, in that after using it, I smell like I just helped pull people from a burning building. :^) We bought other soaps from this company and look forward to trying them."
