"i am black with type 3b/3c hair and i found that this conditioner wasn't as thick or moisturizing as I usually like my conditioners. Since my hair is thick I also ended up having to use quite a bit of the bottle each use. It helped with detangling, as i rinse & condition my hair everyday in shower to help restore curl pattern after working out at gym and sleeping on hair -
The product was moisturizing and I love that it didn't have any harsh chemicals that I couldn't identify or that stripped my hair.
Overall, the product was OK for daily use, certainly not for deep conditioning. I will finish out the bottle and consider buying again for casual daily use. Not thrilled but not especially disappointed either - Everyone's hair is different!"

"THIS HAS REALLY CHANGED MY HAIR. I USE THIS ALONG WITH THE MATCHING SHAMPOO. I HAVE USED SEVERAL AVALON BRANDS AND LIKE THEM, BUT THIS ONE WORKS THE BEST. I HAVE THICK, CURLY, COURSE HAIR AND IT IS NOW SOFT AND MANAGEABLE, VERY NICE PRODUCT. SMELLS GOOD TOO!"

"I bought this conditioner hoping to use it as a detangler, but unfortunately I noticed no difference in that area. The scent and consistency is wonderful. It left my hair feeling healthy and silky when dry, but as far as a detangler on wet hair, I can't say that I had the results I was hoping for. Overall a great product in regards to shine and how it makes your hair feel when it dries."

"This conditioner was wonderful for my course 4a type hair. After rinsing my fingers glide through my hair, no tangles or knots. Easy comb out, no breakage. One day later hair still files moisturized with minimal extra product. This is a keeper!!!"
