"Really pleased with this shampoo. I wanted something with a little more lather to alternate with my other organic shampoo, and something with lavender oil in it. I also wanted something with no citrus or grapefruit seed extract in it as that tends to dry out my hair a little if used daily. For my normal type hair it's perfect. It has pretty much the same consistency and scent as the lavender facial gel (which I Love). Lathers very nicely, smells great, and makes my hair feel healthy and soft. Avalon has a complete glossary of all the ingredients they use in their products at their website, and every ingredient in this shampoo is derived from natural/plant sources, so not only does it smell good and is very beneficial for my hair and scalp, I also don't have to worry about any harmful or harsh chemicals. Incredible value for a 32 oz size."

"I recently bought this after not having used it for some time. I love the scent and it leaves my hair soft, yet controllable.
What I was not prepared for was my 13-yr-old son's declaration that "this shampoo is great, Mom. Look at my hair--I love this stuff! Get it all the time."
It's nice that it came in a pump bottle, too--very easy to use. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it."
