"I am a very outdoorsy gal. Fishing, surfing, hiking, rafting, sunbathing, you name it. I HATE being without this product. I will admit that it is NOT the best tasting balm available, but you simply can't beat the sun protection. My lips never burn and stay moisturized for a long time. Consistency is good, lips can turn a little white if you over-apply. The tingly sensation when you put it on is nice, reminds me of Burt's Bees (which I love but not high enough SPF.) If you are looking for performance over taste, I strongy suggest this product, especially for outdoor use, but not for a hot date. Please do not stop selling this product!"

"This stuff is an okay price, moisturizes fairly well I guess, and smells good at first but its so thick!! It does not slide onto your lips well and it gets in your mouth and you can taste it which is not pleasant. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I really didnt get why it was rated 5 stars. I mean I guess if you dont mind the horrible taste and the fact that it feels like you put glue or paste on your lips... I recommend Alba lip balms, they are great!! Alot of the Alba products are really good."

"I am very fussy about my lip balm. I can't wear anything that tastes funny or feels funny. I'm really glad I decided to try this one. The mint tastes fine and it feels great - not waxy at all. And I love that it has an SPF of 25 and does not have any petroleum product in it."
