"Nordic Natural Omega-3 doesn't leave a fishy smell or cause burping, but it has less than half the DHA that is in the Carlson and NSI brands and no noticeable effect on mood. In addition, nordic has less than half the EPA that is in the NSI brand though more than the Carlson brand. I bought all three to do a personal comparison and found the NSI hands down most effective for feeling better. Carlson was second best and the Nordic had absolutely no effect on mood that I could notice. Ironically the Nordic and the Carlson are twice as expensive as the NSI Mood formula. My conclusion: for half the price, you get twice the effect from the NSI. Stay away from the Nordic and the Carlson if you want to feel better while taking an Omega 3"

"This is the best omega 3 fish oil I have ever tried. No burping up fish taste or smell, in fact, the only thing you taste and smell is the lemon as you swallow it. It does not repeat. I've taken these with a meal, after a meal, even on an empty stomach without any problems. Omega 3 also has helped my dry skin, hair, and nails.
I store these in my refrigerator after opening. In order to conserve energy, I keep my house pretty warm in the summer. These get a little soft at 80 degrees. They are oil after all.
Nordic Naturals were ranked highest on consumer tests and the 180 count bottle is the most economical. Every one needs Omega 3 so eat up!"

"During the 6-month period in which I stopped taking statins and began taking the recommended dosage of this product, my triglycerides went from 96 to a ridiculously low 23! My other lipid numbers rose somewhat, as I expected they would, so if anything, my triglycerides should have risen, too. I am continuing my omega-3 regimen, as well as eliminating the drek from my diet, and exercising regularly. I am looking forward to my next lipid panel, to see how these factors will balance out."
