cosmetic problem, August 2, 2008

"This sunscreen was reccomended as others have problems - healthwise it is no doubt very good. The problem is it leaves an ugly white coating wherever applied that stays. I found it unacceptable for that reason and found I could not use it, unfortunately."

"I find this sunscreen works great. Protects the kids while swimming, but we do reapply occassionally no matter what we are doing. I like to rub in because it does go on as a thick white cream. It is the only sunscreen we use. No harmful chemicals."

"We found that the 25 SPF is much harder to spread than the 20. Thick like paste. My wife won't buy the 25 again."

"This product is a little too thick for me. Make sure you shake it up or a liquid comes out first. The good thing is it doesn't smell."

no burn, May 1, 2008
By Mommynurs from RI

"my 11 yr old is allergic to regular formulated sunscreen products so I tried this natural solution. It works wonderful in the florida sun. It is thick, and needs to be rubbed in very well. I highly recommend it, esp for the little ones."

Natural, Effective, Gotta get over the hue!, January 4, 2008

"Yes, you do get a whitish hue to your skin...especially if you don't REALLY rub it in. And the consistency isn't completely smooth (but it's not 'gritty'). HOWEVER, it is the safest/most natural sunscreen I've found. I, for one, am willing to compromise beauty for natural, effective ingredients. It works. Be sure to re-apply as directed. I forgot to do this after swimming once and my kid-o's did get a little tan. They didn't burn!! Yippie! :)"

"This is a great product. It really protects your skin from burning and it doesn't wash off in the water. I used this in the ocean and burned on the spots that were missed by the lotion."

"Aubrey is a great brand for organic products and this is no exception. It smells wonderful and works great too. For instance, my 2 daughters went outside for the afternoon with this on and showed no sign of sun exposure, even under the eyes where they tend to get burnt even with sunscreen."
