"This Vit C is noticably more effective than simple ascorbic acid. Prior to taking this product, I had been putting ascorbic acid powder in tea and consuming with few noticeable results. After the first night that I took this Vit C with Quercetin and Citrus Bioflavonoids, however, I woke up better rested and with no congestion. The cofactors in this product seem to greatly help its bioavailability. For the price, you can't beat it. You might want to try taking a few more capsules than the label serving size and see if you continue to see improvement. My guess is that many of us are very deficient in Vit C."

"I was taking 2 capsules at a time (1000 mg) but my stomach can't tolerate it. I've cut down to one capsule (500mg) per meal and that seems to help but I want to take in more C than that on a daily basis. Not too happy with it. The capsule is quite large and my 12 year old, who can swallow any tablet or capsule, can't swallow this one. I supplement with liquid C."

"I take this product because the ingredient combination is superb. Quercetin helps with histamine/allergic responses and coupled with the other bioflavonoids, help with capillary integrity and other great health benefits. "Advance C is the same idea as Ester C, only with the PR of NSI/Vitacost. So purchase which ever one is selling for less. Advance C is priced lower then Ester C, for the time being) Your body needs Vitamin C, the more the better, however you have to make sure you don’t take to much, and the way to know that, is if you take let say 10 grams a day and you developed a diarrhea, then you know you are taking to much and reduce it somewhat until your body is running smoothly. Things I take with it: Calcium, Magnesium, vitamin D (all in one), B complex, Synergy (multi vitamin version 2), Advance C, acetyl L Carnitine, and NSI Organic Cold-Milled Flaxseed"
