NSI® ActiSlim Version 2 with PinnoThin™  supports healthy weight management and healthy cholesterol levels. Enhances antioxidant activity in the body to help protect tissues from free-radical damage. How does NSI® ActiSlim Version 2 with PinnoThin™ work? NSI® ActiSlim Version 2 with PinnoThin™ contains active ingredients derived from pine nut oil. Pinolenic acid is a fatty acid found exclusively in pine nut oil that can help curb appetite by stimulating the release of cholecystokinin, a hormone that functions as an appetite suppressant¹. In addition to suppressing appetite, pine nut oil helps to promote healthy cholesterol levels². Pine nut oil also contains antioxidants that work to reduce oxidative stress within the body. PinnoThin™ contains pine nut oil triglycerides that provide linoleic acid (184 mg), oleic acid (100 mg) and pinolenic acid (64 mg). Linoleic acid is an unsaturated omega-6 fatty acid and oleic acid is a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid. Pine nut oil also contains naturally occurring vitamins, minerals and microelements including vitamins B1, B2, B3 and E, pro-vitamin A (beta carotene), essential amino acids, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper and iodine. NSI® ActiSlim™ Version 2 with PinnoThin™ also offers the beneficial properties found in green tea. Green tea contains catechin polyphenols, in particular epigallocatechin gallate (ECCG). EGCG is a powerful antioxidant that is twice as powerful as resveratrol. What sets green tea apart from other teas is the way it is processed. Green tea leaves are steamed, which prevents the EGCG compound from being oxidized. Green tea may support healthy cholesterol levels, promotes good oral health, and helps boost metabolism. The green tea extract found in NSI® ActiSlim Version 2 with PinnoThin™ is standardized to 90% polyphenols, 75% catechins and 45% EGCG. Garcinia cambogia, a fruit used as a condiment in India, contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA). HCA may enhance energy during prolonged exercise. This supplement also uses Licaps® Liquid filled capsules, allowing for the quick-release and absorption of liquid contents. "New to this product but know that Vitacost is wonderful with quality, price and reviews of what they claim, so decided to give it a try. I bought this with the UltraSlim FX and have only used for a week. This keeps me from eating unconsciously and just grabbing food to grab it. Keeps my energy up and my mind off food. It also promotes portion control of which I am a firm believer. Haven't used long enough to "see" results, but know that my nutritional intake is good but down in calories and expect good results when combined with healthful balanced nutrition and moderate-to-vigorous exercise. Hats off Vitacost - you did it again.!! A raving fan!"

My Relationship with Food is Changed, March 15, 2007

"Taking the ActiSlim version 1 (one capsule before lunch, one capsule before dinner) in about three weeks I noticed that I was putting less food on my plate, and leaving some of that. I would see a favorite food and think "That looks good. I'll get some later." And "later" never came. I'm eating less, feeling full and satisfied, and using absolutely no 'will power.'

I just don't want to eat - something that has never in my life happened before!"

"I have been using the original Actislim with Teavigo product for about a month. I take four pills per day. During the week, it's two before breakfast, and one before lunch and my afternoon snack. On the weekends, it's two before breakfast and lunch. I used to gain two or three pounds every weekend without fail. All of my efforts during the following week would be to take off the weekend weight. I figured I could actually take off real weight if I could stop gaining it over the weekend. Well, I wouldn't say that this product has helped me to lose weight (although I have been rather lazy in the exercise department lately), but it's definitely stopped the weekend weight gain. I'm pretty sure I'll see some weight loss once I get back on track with the exercise.

I noticed that this version of the product doesn't have as much EGCG as the previous one. I'd just buy the Teavigo supplement separately and take it together with this one."
