"This one I didn't care for at all. I must have gotten a bad tube like one of the other reviewers commented on. Mine was very hard to apply and the smell was "off" so I tossed it out.
The pomegranate on the other hand, is wonderful - goes on smooth and makes my lips feel soft and nurished for hours.
I just ordered some lip balms from Avalon Organics and Hugos and can't wait to try them"

"I love this lip balm. The first time I bought a tub it was a bit lumpy and didn’t feel to good to put on, but Burt’s Bees have since fixed the problem and the balm is now smooth and silky on. the only complaint I have is from my husband he doesn’t like the smell, but has one of those people that just cant be around things that smell, to me it smells fine."

"As far as lip balm goes, this is just ok for me. I'm addicted to lip balm and wear it every day and night so I'm somewhat of a good judge but this one is rather dry and I prefer my balm more slick so it's goes on more like a gloss. I also don't love the honey fragrance all that much either although it's not bad either. Probaby my favorite balm ever is Lypsyl tropical but then the ingredients aren't the best so I'm always trying to find one with good ingredients. This one has very good ingredients."

"I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 because it takes a week or so to get used to the smell. It has a slight perfume like smell. I use this before I go to bed and under my lip gloss or lipstick. My lips are kept soft and protected."

"I love honey, and this lipbalm tastes like honey. All of Burt's Bees products are excellent, and this lipbalm is excellent, too. I have mixed feelings about it not having sunscreen in it - I feel good not applying sunscreen to my lips all day while I am indoors, but when I go out I have to either use another product that has sunscreen, or apply it over Burt's. I love this lipbalm so much, I hate having to use anything else!"

"Yuck! I cannot get past the smell, it is nauseating! I see on the tube that "fragrance" is listed as an added ingredient. Maybe if they had left that out I could tolerate it with a natural smell, but this is too overwhelming. And I do like honey, but this smells too artificial. Will definitely not reorder!"

"Burt's Bees knows how to make lip balms. My whole family uses them from my husband down to my youngest child. I have preferred the honey lip balm over Burt's Bees original. It works and it keeps my lips from not cracking in the winter. I don't need to use it as often as I do other brands. Two of my daughters like the original best because they don't like the smell of the honey balm, but I love it. Definitely personal preference, but Burt's Bees is the way to go."

"Yes this does smell like honey which I don't particularly like BUT I was desparate to find a product that actually works for chronically dry lips. This works - it's light and stays on your lips. I love Burt's Bees products."

"I love the way this makes my lips feel and look. The only drawback is that it sometimes gets a bit "hard" in the colder weather and can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable when applying."

"I really like this lip balm. I find that it works very well at moisturizing and it smells yummy. I use many Burts bees products because they dont add the unnecassary, harsh chemicals. I will definitely be buying this again."

"I do usually enjoy Burts product this one however didn't spark my fancy. I was excited to try it seeing that I love the original lip balm and love honey, seems like a great match, However when I first tried it the smell kind of turned me off and that's enough for me to say yuck."

"I would love to be able to give this a better review, but the tube I have has hard granules in it - not what you want to put on sore, chapped lips. The taste is of mild honey, that part I like. But I want something smoother in texture."

"I really like Burt Bees products. The lip balm is no exception, as it is a quality product. I only gave it 4 stars due to its lasting durability. It doesn't seem to last very long or feel really moist for long. It smells great and does a great job for the period it stays on...just need to reply, often."

"This is the most soothing lip balm I've tried--and I've tried a lot. My lips peel easily from anything too fragranced or strong, and this balm never causes problems. I even use it on my eyelids which can't tolerate most other moisturizers and it never creates a rash. It is very smooth and smells like honeysuckle! I've only bought 1 tube that felt "grainy" like the other reviewer had, and I bet it got too hot in shipping or something because all other times it's been great. It's the only one I'll use."
