NSI Synergy Men's Multi-Vitamin Version 2 -- 240 Tablets

Men's has nutrients to protect the heart, brain, eyes (lutein (FloraGLO®) 6 mg), and prostate, and is an outstanding multi-vitamin which is highly recommended for men over the age of 40. A total daily multi-vitamin formulated exclusively for men to promote better overall health, this formula also features essential nutrients at therapeutic levels for healthy prostate and heart function. Every man over the age of 40 should protect the heart and the prostate, as the likelihood of heart and prostate diseases rise dramatically with age. The new Synergy Men's Version 2 has plant extracts of saw palmetto, pygeum, and beta sitosterol, at dosages clinically shown to improve symptoms of benign enlarged prostate (BPH). Men given selenium 200 mcg had 63% less prostate cancer incidence (Journal of the American Medical Association, 1996). Synergy Men's has the same dosage of selenium and also has lycopene 10 mg to help protect the prostate. Heart disease patients given folic acid 1,000 mcg, vitamin B12 400 mcg and vitamin B6 10 mg for one year had 32% decrease in death, heart attacks and coronary artery revascularization (JAMA, 2002). Synergy Men's has the same amount of folic acid and more vitamin B12 and vitamin B6. Synergy Men's has many powerful antioxidant phytonutrients, such as CoQ10, lipoic acid, carnitine, quercetin, and extracts of green tea, grape seed (ActiVin®) and ginkgo biloba, which have been shown to protect the heart and brain, and have superior antioxidant activity as compared to vitamins C and E. No-flush niacin is included as inositol hexaniacinate, which has been shown to increase "good" HDL-cholesterol, decrease triglycerides and may mildly decrease "bad" LDL-cholesterol.
