NSI Synergy Basic Multi-Vitamin Version 2 -- 60 Tablets
Version 2 of Synergy Basic provides a superior multi-vitamin with more antioxidants for the budget-minded. Synergy Basic Version 2 has been designed with effective amounts of many powerful antioxidants -- including alpha lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10, quercetin (the major bioflavonoid in our diet, and made from tea, onions and apples), hesperidin, grape seed extract (ActiVin®), and ginkgo biloba extract. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is a powerful "universal" antioxidant, which is active in all tissues. Alpha Lipoic acid may also promote healthy blood glucose by reducing glucose tolerance and decreasing insulin resistance. It may also restore glucose availability in tissues such as the skeletal muscle. When vitamin C, vitamin E, or coenzyme Q10 neutralize a free radicals, they are no longer active, but ALA may help recycle the inactive vitamin C, vitamin E and coenzyme Q10 back to active, protective antioxidants. The herb ginkgo biloba has been associated with memory support, and may also help to increase oxygen flow to the arms, legs and brain. Contains the full spectrum of B vitamins including folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 (in the potent neuroactive form of methylcobalamin) which may enhance homocysteine blood levels. Lutein is a unique antioxidant that is concentrated in the macula of the retina, where we have our high resolution visual functions, such as reading. Lutein at 6 mg or higher may protect the eyes from free radical damage that leads to vision loss. Synergy Basic includes 6 mg of lutein using the clinically-tested, standardized FloraGLO® extract. "I had been purchasing the Synergy Basic Version-2 Multi in capsule form. I didn't really like the odor associated with them, however, they were "doable." When I re-ordered, I received these tablets, which I assume replaced the capsules. I find them to be both awful tasting and smelling. If that's all that is available, I will continue to purchase them, however, preferred the capsules. Other than that, I like the quality and value."

"I am not permitted to take any vitamins with iron or iodine, this product fits the bill...I wish it was a little more complete with some additional supplements and herbs, but in general I'm quite satisfied."

"I have been impressed by NSI's wide range of multi vitamins, but many of them include herbs that I can't take. NSI's Basic Version 2 is perfect for me. I take double the dose and have experienced a significant boost of energy. I don't know what I am missing in my diet, but Version 2 is the answer!"

"I tried EVERY respectable, name-brand multi-vitamin on the market--and they ALL made me sick to my stomach, even the "time-released" ones! I mean sick to the point of unable to continue them: queasy, nausea, painful stomach lining, etc. I had even tried taking them with various kinds of foods. Nothing worked! I had all but GIVEN UP!
THEN I found THIS and its "happily ever after" for me. It's the only one I can take and then be on my way without fearing that I'll get sick from it. And I feel good, well-rested, properly nourished, and able to deal with anything. I'm so grateful for these. THANKS, NSI!!"
