"I was taking the NSI Mega EFA product in the larger pill size and was a definite fan of the quality and value offered by the product. However, I wanted my entire family to get the benefits of a high-quality Omega-3 fatty acid supplement. The smaller size of the NSI Mega EFA 2 product fit the bill. Now, my young children swallow the softgel easily as part of their daily supplement routine. I recommend taking the product right before a meal to minimize any fish burps by "burying" the fish oil. I have found that even when taking this product after a meal, fish burps are minimized as the fish smell/taste is less pronounced than with other products."

"I have experienced some heartburn after taking these, however if you take them after a meal you probably won't have heartburn. Even with the heartburn they still won't give you that horrible fishy taste. The small pill size makes them very easy to swallow compared to many of the others on the market. I believe it is an exellent supplement for many areas of ones health supported by scientific research."

"I purchased these caps because they are advertized as small....easy to swallow. While they are smaller than some fish oil caps Ive tried, they are still large. They are about the size of an "ordinary" capsule. They do have a nice smooth coating on the outside that lets you swallow them a bit easier. Since I have to eat 4 of these for the same benefit as 2 regular caps, Im not sure they are worth the effort and extra cost."

"I wish they were a little bit smaller, as I have a lap-band and every once in a while b/c they don't filter through the band all the way and I'll get a little (tiny) taste of the fishiness. I've learned if take a bite of food and then take the pill and then finish eating I don't have that taste at all. And if I did experience the taste it was negligible not anything that grossed me out. These are the only ones I've been able to find that are small and I take them twice a day and will continue to buy them b/c they are better than what's being sold out there - I've experimented with other brands and looked for small sizes and this is the best."

"Our nutritionist recommended this brand for our entire family, in combination with Nature's Plus Spiru-Tein High Protein Energy Meals (we like Chocolate and Chocolate/Peanut Butter). It seems to be helping with weight management, stress management, being more focused, and not getting so tired by the end of the day. The best part is that this particular softgel is half the size of all the other fish capsules. That is the only way my kids could swallow them. So far no fish burps like the other brands. About the only issue is that the product specs recommend taking just 2 capsules. That would mean half the potency over the regular size capsules. At least they give you twice as many for almost the same cost. Overall, great product at a good price."

"This newer size makes it possible for me to take the Omega oils. When trying to find smaller size gel caps, the only alternative that I've been given is to take the liquids. Sales clerks make that sound so easy but when questioned if they'd do it, I always got the answer I expected, "NO". "I have been using the product for a couple of weeks and everytime I "burp" I taste the fish oil. I wasn't sure if this was supposed to happen, so I asked around and people said NO!!! "I appreciate NSI making available the smaller - "easy to swallow" gel cap size. It does make difference for me, they are easier to swallow, more comfortable than the bigger pills. I don't like swalling large pills (the tablet type I can crunch to smaller size). I have heard of some people feeling their throat get tighter when they take larger number of supplements. The smaller size may help. I can't give any experiential results from taking the Omega Fish oil - just can say my nutritionist says it provides additional nutrients to help make blood vessels more flexable, expandable, self repairing and helps reduce blood platelet sticking."
