Because omega-3 EFAs can be converted into anti-inflammatory substances (prostaglandins and leukotrines), they're also believed to provide joint support, promoting flexibility, mobility and potential pain relief. NSI® Mega EFA Omega-3 EPA & DHA has been formulated to contain optimal levels of the omega-3 EFAs, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). "EFAs are crucial. The typical American diet is poor in these nutrients, and even though I eat a diet that includes foods that have EFAs, I still supplement with these. Cardiovasuclar, brain, etc, all need them to function. They are not expensive considering the benefits. The NSI is a high quality supplement."

"I used to have to take over 30 'ordinary' fish pills to get my 5 grams of combined EPA/DHA. With the Mega EFA, I only need to take 1/3 that amount.
