"I strongly believe in the quality of the Kashi shake. I use these shakes and so does my 86 year old mother. We combine the Kashi shake with either milk or water and also add bananas, blueberries and flax oil for a complete shake that not only has vitamins but also has the fiber to help young and old alike to stay healthy. Due to her age my mother had problems staying regular and her plumbing didn't work so well, but with the shake she is feeling much better and stronger. Drinking this shake on a daily or semi daily basis really helps your system stay clean and free of poisons that can build up when your system is irregular."

"- It works well as a meal replacement - Tastes very nice and does not taste artificial or chemical like SlimFast - Zero or negligible fat - Combined with exercise, I easily lost at the rate of 3 to 4 pounds a week. I replaced my lunch with 2 go lean shakes spaced 2 hours apart. I had usual dinner but healthy and low fat. I did no dieting on weekends again consuming only healthy low fat food. This way you are not craving for food for months to lose weight. Losing weight slowly is the best for the body. Make sure to exercise for maximum benefit. I did brisk walking on my home treadmill for about 35 mins 3 times a week. I would however like this product to be lower priced. The ingredients aren't exotic, it shouldn't cost so much, its an excellent product however."

"Kashi GoLean Protien shake mix is the only one I can stand but it is difficult to find in stores and when I do find it the cost is around $15. Vitacost is the best value and you can order as many as you want and shipping is always the same! Orders are received in just a few days."

"Both my collage age daughter and I enjoy this great tasting drink. It is the best in the market for taste and mixes up very well in the blender with water, ice and a cup of fruit. Our favorite is frozen strawberries. The drink is not too sweet and has no vitamin or chalky taste that some of the powers have. We've bought tons of it! It is a super value when you buy a case from Vitatcost because the shipping stays the same. It isn't the cheapest on the market, but I would say it tastes great."

"While both the vanilla and chocolate Kashi GoLean shakes are delicious, the vanilla is better, as the chocolate can have a bit more of a gritty texture when blended. Both turn out better if you include half of a banana to boost the potassium and viscosity of the drink. Really keeps you satisfied and delivers both protein and fiber, so helpful for satiety in weight management."

"I have no time for breakfast but I know it's important to start the day with some kind of nutrition. I started making myself a smoothie every morning with fruit, yogurt, flax oil, bran & Kashi shake mix for protein so I would feel full longer. The other protein powders I tried tasted horrible. Kashi's mix is very tasty and it does help keep me feeling full until lunch time. Now I have a smoothie while driving to work every morning."
