"iI am 70 years old and a long time suppliment user... In great health very little Grey hair and very active... I look 20 years Younger then I really am... I have used L-Lisine for many years to clear up Fever blisters/cold sores which occur on me each time I get over a cold... "Love this Lysine! Not all Lysine is the same - I depend on Vitacost's NSI brands to insure I'm getting a reliable source of vitamins/minerals.
If you want to stay cold sore free, this is for you. I take a maintenance dose of 1000 mg/day, but when I feel a cold sore coming on I take 3000 to 5000 mg immediately - this usually stops them in their tracks! (tapering it back to tje maintenance dose over next few days) If I do get one I do the same thing - it shortens the life of it dramatically."

"I did not believe it, I suffered all my life oportunistic outbreaks. I start taking this supplement almost daily and I've been cold sore free for more than a year!!! The price here beats them all. c'mon a bottle last almost a year!"
