"I'm only not recommending this to anyone because most people I know would not be able to handle the taste. I think the quality and the ingredients are good but it's hard to drink bitter oil. It could be that the bottle I purchased was rancid way before the expiration date, but I doubt it."

"Some report hair and nails grow faster when using this product regularly. Although I can't confirm that, I do see and feel my hair and nails growing back full and healthy. I love this stuff and have been taking this supplement for years. I will continue for life. P.S. I take a spoonful at night before bed and chase it down with a potent glass of organic powdered wheat barley grass (Green Magma) mixed in water. I definitely notice a spike in sustained energy throughout the day. I am a busy project manager and I can tell you this is a great natural boost!"

"I love this EFA! It is the best one I have tried by far. Some people have complained about the flavor, and honestly it did take me a couple tries to get used to it, but now that I am used to the flavor I actually find it very delicious, better than olive oil by far. I take this by itself and put it on salads, and I think it tastes amazing. I always like to take supplements in their natural form as opposed to capsules."

"I'm pretty pleased with this product. It is the first flax oil supplement I've tried. I definitely feel I'm getting a better deal from taking it in liquid form rather than having to choke down a bunch of capsules. I've been using it for over a month, and my skin seems to be clearer and have more of a glow. It helps keep me regular and, especially since it includes evening primrose oil, helps keep my mood regulated and lessens my pms symptoms. I take one tablespoon a day and one bottle lasts me an entire month, so it is a great price.
Yes, it tastes pretty bad--bitter and pungent, but I've found if I mix it up with a shot of soymilk, gulp it down with my nose plugged, and then chase it with another shot of soymilk, the aftertaste isn't bad at all. I've tried taking it with other liquid (juice, smoothies) but feel that the soymilk tastes best with it since they both have similar nutty chemistries."

"This flaxseed oil is the best I have ever used. The only downside (which is common with all of the EFA's I have tried) is that it tastes awful. This stuff is so effective that I use it anyway. It has really helped regulate my blood chemistry."

"very effective, combined with fish oils this is a potent mix. noticed results in about 2 weeks taken consistently in the afternoon with the complexion becoming less oily. Great product, it was actually recommended by another friend and is about $15.00 and up in other sites so I'm glad I found this one here at vitacost.com at this price!"
