NSI Healthy Cholesterol Version 2 contains beneficial amounts of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that may help support favorable cholesterol levels already in the normal range. It includes vitamin B3, which in addition to cholesterol support, may also enhance the effectiveness of certain medications taken for cholesterol management. This new version of NSI Healthy Cholesterol now provides 1,200 mg of Red Yeast Rice extract, which contains fiber, rice starch and fatty acids, as well as monacolin and mevinolin, which may promote healthy cholesterol levels. Red Yeast Rice may also lower CoQ10 levels (similar to statin cholesterol-lowering drugs). It is therefore recommended to consume at least 100 mg per day of CoQ10 when taking red yeast rice.
