Extremely rich in flavonoids: Helps reduce free radicals and offers inflammation support! Promotes balanced uric acid levels! How does NSI® Cherry Fruit Extract work? Cherries are a source of flavonoids-natural compounds that help maintain capillaries, collagen, eyes, joints and arteries. The anthocyanidin and proanthocyanidin flavonoids in cherries also have antioxidant properties to help protect your body from the damaging effects of free radicals. Flavonoids act as an anti-histamine (Histamine promotes inflammation.), and this is beneficial for those suffering from allergies or other inflammatory conditions. Flavonoids also strengthen collagen, the building blocks of connective tissue, by cross-linking the fibers themselves. This process then reinforces the web of connective tissue that includes tendons, cartilage, and other key structural tissues. Finally, cherry fruit extract may reduce high uric acid levels in the blood. NSI® Cherry Fruit Extract is better because it:. Comes in a concentrated 10:1 dose, so you receive a potent formula. Offers 1,000 mg of pure cherry extract—in just 2 capsules daily.

Good cherry source,
August 14, 2008

"I was happy to find this good source of cherry extract. Even Dr. Gott said that cherries might help gout. Just one caution. I feel that the label is misleading. It implies 180 caps of 1000 mg. In reality Each cap. contains 500 mg. (Reading the fine print - it states that the daily dose is 1000 mg."

Cherry Fruit Extract,
February 25, 2008
By ElvisFanfrom Chicago, IL
"I bought this product to help ease the pain in my knees. I had started exercising - doing aerobics - and within a few short months, my knees were killing me! I was 41 at the time, though my joints felt they were about 85! At first I tried the glucosimine products, I thought if they worked for Regis Philbin, they'd work for me! But they didn't help at all. I thought my exercising days were over! Until I tried the Cherry Fruit Extract - now the pain in my knees is completely gone! I can't believe it. I've got fellow friends taking it - friends who've had knee replacements - it is helping them, too! I recommend this product highly!!! I'm 43 now, been taking this product ever since, and ever since, I've had no problems and am still going strong and doing my aerobics with no problems!"

Cherry Extract,
February 2, 2008
By kygranny6
"Prices are always great ... I have problems with gout and even though I take a prescription I have found out that if I don't take the cherry extract also I will have small flare-ups every so often. If a flare up begins I just increase my cherry extract for a couple of days and it seems to bring it under control. For me taking cherry extract has become a daily routine. :-) :-)"

"I've been taking this now for a year. I do a self-made cocktail of turmeric/curcumin [with bioperine for absorption] + boswellia +white willow bark+this. I do this for maintenance, daily. If I have discomfort beyond minor stiffness, I'll switch to Enzymatic Therapy's End Pain which can also be gotten at Vitacost. They seem to be a tad more powerful, and they have a synergistic formula of 3 of the above in 1 tablet. But you pay more. Anyway, I can purchase all 4 needed items, more for less by getting them individually here, and this cherry extract is standardized for quality. I do wish the Vitacost labelers would report the standardization as a percentage, not as 10:1. What does that mean? 10% standardized?"

"Someone told me about taking Cherry Fruit Supplements for arthritis pain in the hands and fingers. I ordered the supplements and have been taking them for a year. It takes a couple of weeks to start working, but it works! I would recommend Cherry Fruit Supplements to anyone who is suffering from arthritis pain in the joints. It helped, not only my hands but other joint pain as well."

"I use the cherry fruit extract to help keep gout away and I'm happy with Vitacost's product. Not only is it high quality but the price is reasonable and the best I found online. I cannot find it anywhere in stores in my local area and it's convenient to have it delivered to my door. Vitacost service is great too.
Thanks!"
