"I have a difficult time swallowing pills that are large. Up until I found Vitacost and they sell empty gelatin capsules, I had to cut up pills so I could take them. These have been so helpful to me and I will continue to be a loyal customer, you can't find better prices anywhere."

If you cap your own...,

"I buy bulk powders of some products, such as amino acids, which are either too expensive from regular vendors in pre-capped form, or are simply not appealing to take in powder form (aminos can be quite nasty, regardless of the vendor and their attempts to make the product palatable). So empty gel caps are the way to go in these cases. There are more sophisticated ways to get the products into them, but I usually just take the caps, dunk them into the powder, and seal them up. It takes all of 15 minutes or so to finish 100 caps. I believe each "O" cap holds about 650mg or so, if memory serves. Not much else to say here...good quality, good price."
