"I have enjoyed using all of the line of Shikai products. The aloe is natural and quite soothing to my parched Colorado skin. This keeps my skin smooth and nourished. It sinks in immediately with no greasy moments. I haven't found any lotion I have liked better ever and I feel like I have tried them all!"

"After trying many products for dry skin, which was driving me nuts, as it was year round, I was finding that the ones easily found and recommended were actually making the problem worse. I believe they use a lot of alcohol, or some drying agent that was making my skin dryer. The only recourse seemed to be something really greasy, which I cannot stand.
I got lucky when I found this product, it actually works for me. I also do a lot of work with my hands and if I use this every night, or when my hands get particularly dry, like after cleaning them when they get automotive grease on them, I don't get the cracking that is painful. I don't know what I would do without the Borage lotion. I also use their shower gel in the winter, when it gets really cold and dry."

"We are literally on our 100th box. so far works best for ezema itching relief...which is a really relief in itself. But overdoing will prone your skin to rash or break-out so becareful.

I wish they sold it in much larger sizes since I buy so much."

"I have very sensitive dry skin and am constantly looking for truly “emollient” & hypoallergenic lotions. Two thumps up to Shikai for their Borage Dry Skin Therapy Lotion & Fragrance Free Hand & Body Lotion. They are both wonderful moisturizers and thanks to Vitacost very reasonably priced:-). They go on smoothly, absorb well and last long. In addition, neither has any perfume or strong odors. The best for sensitive and/or dry skin. I just love them!!!"

"We were pretty desparate when we finally decided to try this lotion. I had no hopes of it really working, but was running out of options for my daughter's VERY DRY skin. We had found a couple of conventional products that were effective, but I wasn't very keen on rubbing all those chemicals into her skin every day. The ShiKai Borage lotion is the only "natural" lotion I have tried that works. Excellent product!"

"This lotion used to be my swear-by winter moisturizer. It will truly save your skin if it's dry, cracked, and scaly. However, at only 8 oz., it's a bit small for the price (used to buy this from drugstore.com and Whole Foods for ~ $12 - Vitacost has the BEST price). For this reason I have switched to Nature's Gate Colloidal Oatmeal lotion, which works fantastically and at ~ $6 for 18 oz. is a much better value."
