"This was my secret hand saver. My old job made my hands very dry, cracked & rough from handling boxes & paperwork all day in a dry work environment. I bought some & used it instead of regular lotion for my hands before going leaving & after I got home. Once a month I would use it before going to bed & wear my cotton gloves all night. Also very good for cold, dry winter weather. Very creamy, with a light, warm fragrance, a little bit goes a long way. Great for light use or intensive use."

"The smell of this hand creme is so awful - there is no way I can ever determine its effectiveness unless I hold my breath when I put it on and then cover my hands up quickly with gloves. Other people wrote that the smell was strong, but I never expected anything from Burt's Bees to smell so nasty."

"I have had the WORST hands for years! Cracking, splitting, painful, embarassing, peeling skin on my hands and fingers. I have tried all sorts of creams, and balms, and have finally found a miracle! Maybe it's the Shea butter that makes the difference, I don't know, but I no longer wear bandaids on my fingers, and I can actually do the dishes, and something as simple as take a shower without the fear of dry,painful, unsightly hands, and fingers. It's just so wonderful!"

"As with all Burts Bees products, the ingredients are excellent and this probably works ok but it smells really bad. It has a strong and stinky smell which makes me not want to use it. I have used the banana hand cream in a jar and it smells fantastic so this was an unpleasant surprise."

"I have had eczema caused by dry skin and had to to use a steroid creme almost continuously.Since using this product I have been able to stop using a steroid creme. My only complaint is that it comes in a small tube. I wish it would come in a large jar, because I use it every day."

"I've tried a number of various hand-repair creams, many formulated with shea butter, and find this product to be the very best yet! I have my hands in and out of water all day long and often get bouts of dryness, despite vigilant use of products to heal and repair. This product very quickly heals my hands when they've gotten particularly rough and dry. It seems to seal in the moisture in a way that others do not. It has a bit of an odd smell, but I put it on at night before sleeping and it doesn't bother me. It's not a bad smell.... just strongly herb-y."
