"I started taking Red Yeast Rice about 3 months ago because i read that it could help to lower my cholesterol. Well my cholesterol levels actually went up. I was at 205 when i started and 3 months later i was at 226. I recently read that red yeast rice only works if it is fermented in a certain way and that the FDA forced companies to change the way it is fermented, basically rendering it useless. It's so hard to tell what works and what doesn't because there will one study that says something works and another saying it doesn't. Well red yeast rice didn't work for me and if what i read about the fermenting process is true it will not work for anyone else either. I read that Arginine may help out so i'll try that next."

"Great deal! I have been taking red yeast rice for 8 months. The brand I was using was NOW. This made my cholesterol drop from 230 to 160 in less then 8 months. I am staying on red yeast rice! Lipitor was eating up my insides poor people that don't know about red yeast rice!"

"I tried the 1200mg tablets first. I felt they were too big and the edges were not smooth so swallowing was difficult for me. The capsules are much easier to swallow and leave no after taste.
I don't now if they are effective in lowering my cholesterol yet, but when I used the product from a different supplier I achieved great results. I hope these will continue to perform in the same manner as they did."
