Jarrow Formulas Pantethine -- 450 mg - 60 Softgels

Coenzyme A Precursor. Supports Lipid Metabolism. Pantethine is a derivative of Vitamin B5 and the stable disulfate form of pantetheine, which is the active component of Coenzyme A (CoA). Pantethine supports lipid metabolism by it ability to raise levels of CoA, a cofactor involved in several metabolic pathways including carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. CoA combines with acetyl groups to form Acetyl CoA, a participant in energy production. Pantesin is a scientifically validated brand of Pantethine made by Daiichi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Japan.

"I have a blocked bile duct and this really helps with the digestion of fat. Without this I will feel a dull ache right under my rib cage."

"Quality of the soft gels were poor. Capsules had a strong odor and stuck together. Suggest contacting the soft gel manufacturer for improved quality."

"I used this product for 3 months (taking 1 capsule twice a day). I changed nothing in my eating or exercise habits other than taking the Pantethine). My cholesterol dropped considerably below 200 with a decrease in my LDL as well. I would highly recommend this product to everyone, but make sure you check with your Physician first."

"I have been using Pantethine for over a year. Initially I went for a yearly check up and cholesterol was high. Doctor wanted to start me on Lipitor, but I said I wanted 6 months try something else. I started Pantethine and when I went back my doctor said whatever you are doing continue. My Triclycerides are 39, HDL 82 and calulated LDL 134. I eat right, do cardio exercise for 1 hour 4 x a week, and take Pantethine. Try it for a few months! IT WORKS! Age 50, body fat 25%,female- Really... exercise, a sensible diet and pantethine will do the trick."
