Therapeutic Bath Crystals. Indulging in a warm bath of salt crystals and essential oils after a workout helps release lactic acid which builds up during physical activity causing muscle ache. "These bath crystals are great for relieving sore, stiff and achy muscles. After a stressday day at work when my neck and shoulders are especially tight, I soak in Burt's Bees Bath Crystals for 15 minutes and my muscle aches are COMPLETELY gone! No need for Advil. The only problem I have had is the crystals need 10-15 minutes to disolve in very hot water and mixed around before getting in the tub, otherwise the undissolved crystals sting and hurt. Otherwise, it's great for unbunching sore muscles."

"My old job had me on my feet for the whole work day, I also had a lot of boxes to lift & carry everyday. I walked the mile to & from work everyday & the walk home could be torture for my feet some days. At the end of the day, my back, shoulders, neck, legs & feet would very sore & tired. Most days I would just make a foot soak as soon as I got home. After particularly long & hard days I couldn't wait to get home & have a good whole body soak with my Burt's Bees crystals. The smell of the oils helped me mentally de-stress while my body relaxed in the minerals & hot water. Instant vacation. Also very good for the flu aches & pains & great after a cold winter's day. I do agree that they can take a while to dissolve, but I got around that by running only hot water, putting in the crystals & stirring for a minute with the back scrubber to help dissolve the crystals. I'd wait about 10-15 minutes before getting into the water, adding cold if it was still too hot. It warmed the tub & bathroom, filling the room with the scent of the oils as well."

"I love Burts Bees products, and generally have no issues with them. However, I have very sensitive skin; and I was careful to use only the recommended amount. It made my skin burn and itch for 2 days. If you have very sensitive skin - be careful!"

"I overdid it big time in a spin class and my thighs were killing me for almost 2 weeks! This stuff started me on the road to recovery. After the first bath I felt better and was even better after each bath. The fact that it doesn't contain any nasty (chemical) stuff is a bonus."
"Since I'm a marathon runner, after running I really enjoy taking a hot bath in Burts Bee's Therapeutic bath crystals. I truly do beleive it eliminates lactic acid which causes muscle soreness. It's aromatherapeutic blend also soothes and clams me down after a long run."
"This works much better if you put the recommended amount in a cheesecloth pouch and tie it to the tub faucet to hang down about 2 inches so the hot water and i mean HOT water hits it directly. If you just put it in the tub it seems like it doesn't disolve thoroughly and if you tie it first you don't need a mostly TOO hot bath to ever get into. :)"
