"this chewable has been great for my children. we have milk and gluten allergies/sensitivites so this product is perfect because it is free of these allergens. my 1 1/2 year old can even chew them up without a problem. the only problem (which is good to use for character training) is that my older children prefer the white ones, so I tell them, "you get whatever falls out of the bottle, and you'll be content". . . they are learning that it's not so bad to get a purple or pink gummy after all!"

"My 4 year old loves these. He calls them his yummy bears with sugar. they are a little tart and I give them to him along with the regular (multi vitamin) yummy bears."

"These yummi bears should not be named as Vegetarian. It's very misleading. If you are not concerned with whether they are vegetarian, they may be a great purchase for you.

After purchasing them several times, I realized that though the calcium is vegetable source, the Vitamin D-3 (as Cholecalciferol) is derived from sheep wool or from fish.
Vitamin D-2 is vegetarian. Vitamin D-3 is not."

"My son is allergic to dairy and is also a picky eater. So trying to find a calcium source that he would actually eat has been difficult. My troubles are now over since I found this vitamin. They are soft and chewy and nice and sour. My son loves them and he is finally getting his calcium that he desperately needs."

"Well, *I'm* not a fan of "gummy" things, but my son certainly is! And if we have to get him these to take his calcium, then so be it! I'd rather use regular chewable vitamins (vs. gummy) simply because of the "stick-in-your-teeth" factor, but these aren't too terribly sticky ~ and these are usually taken after breakfast, so teeth are brushed afterwards! I'd say, go for it ~ your kids will probably love 'em!"
