"I liked the concept of whole foods, and was pleased with the vitamin and nutrient levels in this product. I knew I had used it before, so I ordered it again. Then I remembered the reason I had changed to another supplement - the size of the caplet. Yikes! I think it's a good product but only if you can get it down."

"Many people use the product VENOM to gain energy, burn fat and curb appetite. This product has the same ingredient and same dosage as VENOM right in your multivitamin! I have used whole food vitamins under the care of a naturopath and these are better! They provide the same or better nutrition as five smaller vitamins I was taking before -- all in one tablet. You can't beat the price here, either."

"In my case, this product apparently has too much vitamin A. My skin started flaking around my waistline after a couple of days of taking the product. This may not be the case for everyone, but finding a good and effective multi is not an easy task. I hope this one works for you."

"I have been taking this multi for a few months and began having problems with facial flushing and with my hands getting hot and red. I could not figure out what the problem was. Today I started looking at my vitamin bottle and realized it contains 125 mg of niacin! The normal recommended amount is only around 20 mg! Niacin in this amount causes flushing of the face and hands, and sometimes itchiness and rashes (which I've also had).

I'm not sure why they would include such a large dose of niacin in this multi. It is disappointing b/c it is hard to find a good whole food vitamin at this value. But I am going to start searching for one that has a safer amount of niacin in it."

"I have been taking Alive for almost a year, and this is the most complete multivitamin that I can find thus far. I usually take 1-3 tablets a day, depending on how my eating habits are that day. They are easy to swallow, although I could do without that B vitamins smell. I think this is a quality product and I will continue to use it, unless I find something I like better."
