"I really wanted to try vitamin C products on my face as I have read it is very good for evening out skin tone and sun damage. I was a little disappointed though, because it makes my skin a little bit shiny and I have to wait forever before putting anything else on my skin. I have normal skin, and even just a dot left my skin shiny. On the positive side, the results are good so I just use it at night."

"The main reason to use vitamin C on one's face is for clarity and to even skin tone. This is exactly what this product claims to do. I, however, have found this product to be very slow at evening out my skin even though the variations in it are very slight. I have seen a small improvement in my skin in this regard but I had hoped it would work better. The problem is the the Vitamin C is not Vitamin C-Ester which is the more bioavailable form of the vitamin and therefore better for your skin. On the plus side it is very light and smells really good so it provides a boost of aroma therapy. It is also organic and safe."

"I bought this for my mother, who has mature, dry skin. Since it is an oil-based serum, it is not as drying as most other vitamin-C serums. I have oily skin, and I am hesitant to try it because I am acne-prone. However, after a week of use, I notice that my mother's skin is noticeably firmer, clearer, and brighter. She uses this serum under an SPF moisturizer in the morning, to boost collagen production. She also uses this serum under her eyes, and I notice that the crepey skin in that area has improved as well. I have noticed these improvements after only one week, so I am sure that longer term use will reap great results. After finishing this bottle, I am also going to buy Jason's vitamin C serum, just to compare. But I highly recommend the entire line of Avalon Organics vitamin C skincare products."

"I have oily skin and have some acne scars, as well as minot skin discoloration on my cheek bone area. Serums tend to be to gresy alone, but this one is light. I got a great price on it, so figured I would try it. I read somewhere to use it under your eyes and it really helps with lines. Well, I have to say I ahve done so for under a week and I notice a difference with the fine lines. they are definately less noticable, and well as discoloration. No irritation has happened around my eye are, and I do have sensitive skin. I am awaiting the oil free vit C moisturizer and the gel cleanser...we shall see how those work. Great serum option. Vitamin C promotes regeneration and has a natural lightening effect...."

"I have combination skin and hesitated to purchase this, but did when I started using the Vitamin C line. It's light weight, and provides very light moisturizing. It leaves my skin soft and I've noticed a positive difference in my skin texture. I use small dabs of the products versus slathering it over my face."

"I bought this to lighten my acne scars. I saw great results immediately. It definitely works better than Jason's c light skin tone balancer, but too bad it makes my oily skin break out. So if you don't have oily skin like me this would work great."
