"Not only does this smell fantastic, after 1/2 a bottle my hair got to the point where it only needing washing every 4 or 5 days instead of every other day. It is pricey but even with my waist length hair, a single bottle lasted several months."

"I have long Grey hair, and feel that its important to keep it looking as beautiful as possible. That is not always easy. The avalon Organics Lavender worked very well. Puts moisture in my hair and makes it alot more manageable. I seriously can't remember when my hair looked and felt this nice. Oh yes! and the price was great!"

"Luxurious, smells great, and makes my hair clean without too drying. My all time favorite shampoo. Works well on naturally curly hair. I also use it on the dogs to get them to smell good and not have reactions to all the trash that is in regular shampoo. We all love it here."

"I bought this based on other reviews. The shampoo does make my hair very shiny and it suds well, I wish it were more moisturizing. It doesn't leave a residue and I can comb through my fine hair without using a conditioner. I really like that it doesn't contain SLS, parabens and other questionable ingredients and the smell is lovely."

"I've finally found it - the best shampoo. I have improved fullness, bounce, shine, strength, and, don't ask me how this is possible, but I have fewer gray hairs. I lose fewer hairs when washing and brushing, as well. My hair feels so natural, so wonderful. Can't say enough about this product. Oh yes, and it smells like heaven!"

"Most shampoos contain sulfates, which amount to detergent. My long, thick hair is dry in the first place, so typical shampoos yield a stripped/frayed/frizzed look and it takes a lot of compensating conditioners, etc., to overcome that.
Thanks to the lack of sulfates, my hair is much more tamed and soothed when I use this, and I require far fewer post-shampoo products to achieve a nice look.
While I am beating up on sulfates, they also strip out hair color. This product is very kind to both hair and hair color."

"I really am disappointed that this product was not better. The smell is great, but it really didn't feel like it was cleaning. What's worse, it made my hair feel dryer. I also tried the conditioner thinking if it was really good it would balance out the shampoo making my hair so dry. It didn't. I am still on the search for a GOOD organic shampoo and conditioner, but this is not it. I expect it to work as good or better than the cheap stuff at the store, am I asking too much?"

"I bought this product and although it has a great smell it didn't do the great wonders for my hair. My hair is a little freeze in some areas and I thought this shampoo would do a better job for my freeze problem but it didn't. For the price I don't think it is worth it."
