"I got these fish oil caps for my 9 year old son because our doctor recommended them to improve concentration and brain function. The gel caps are small enough for him to swallow with no trouble. Do not be fooled by the "chewable" tag however. They taste like fish oil - even with the lemon flavor added. We ahve tried several forms, and this is the easiest for him to take and has no after taste."

"The casing on these is inedible & a lemonish flavor oil squirts out & faint fishy taste. Nasty! the lemon irritated my throat. My son spit his out. Will have to have him swallow these."

"I am sure this would be a great product if my kids would take it. One won't at all, and the other always chews it and spits out the wrapper. I think there is probably a better option out there, although I do have confidence in the quality of this product. Still searching."

"I have given these capsules to my almost 10 yr. old son, 7 yr. old son, and 4 yr. old daughter. They all really like the taste. However, my oldest doesn't like the plastic shell that he's left with when he chews the capsule. So he swallows them with some type of beverage. My younger two don't have any problem with the left over shell. They just swallow it after they've popped the capsule. The supplement works really well for all the kids, but I think it's best suited for my oldest. The younger two absolutely love the Nordic Naturals DHA for kids with the strawberry flavored capsules which seems best for their age group. I'll keep using both of the Nordic products for my kids."

"I remember from my childhood how my mother used to give me liver cod fish oil and telling me it will make me stronger. I hated the taste. I still want to give my children the same health benefit that my mother gave me, but without the awful taste. Nordic OMEGA1-2-3 are just perfect for my children. They pop it in their mought and smoothly is goes down without fuss. Great benefit without the awful taste."

"I have been giving this to my boys for years (we did the lower mg. when they were younger). You will notice an improvement with concentration and focus, plus the overall health benefits of fish oil are of course very important as well. I give it to them along with their daily multivitamin, and I highly recommend this brand due to it's purity."

"I have tried and tried other omega supplements and the after taste kills me, so I figured I'd try these Junior Lemon chewables. They are great, I've even coerced my hubby into taking them. While it may not be the adult dose I figure it's better than taking no omega at all! The lemon totally cuts any fishy taste (at least for me) I also take children's chewable multivitamins because my stomach can't handle any other kind."

"I was pleasantly suprised that my daughter liked these gel capsules, since she didn't really care for the liquid version. The only issue we had with these is that the outer capsule doesn't dissolve very easily, so my daughter ends up spitting them out after she chews them. We call these her Brain Oil capsules.....then she read the label and wondered what cod liver oil was! We love the product."

"The product states GREAT LEMON TASTE but my 5 year old can't stand the taste. I use the adult version of Nordic Naturals and have loved its benefits. I'm sure this product is just as great in effectiveness but it's too bad I've just wasted my money. I tried to have her swallow the gelcap but for a youngster that can be tough. I wish it really WAS great tasting and that it came in a REAL chewable tablet. Hope you have better luck."
