"Although this is for around the eyes, I use it more on my elbows, knees & ankles to help moisturize that thicker skin. I do use it for my eyes a couple of times a week in the winter when the air is drier, but I'm of the belief that the less you fuss with the skin around your eyes, the less stress on that tender skin, the fewer lines you'll have. A little bit on the finger tip dabbed lightly around the eyes before I go to bed & I do see a difference."

"Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Creme with Aloe Vera did nothing for my under eyes, I really hoped it would but there was no results for me. This product it to thick to wear during the day a little bit goes a long way, I would recommend it or night use only, unless you like walking around with greasy eyelids."

"I really like applying this eye cream at night before I go to bed. It has made my undereye noticabley brighter and the fine lines or smile lines are less visible. It keeps my eye area fresh looking."

Too thick,

"Difficult to get onto the skin it is so thick and hard. I like the glass jar and metal top (opposed to plastic) and the scent, but I feel like I am really pulling on my under eye skin when putting it on."

Too thick and greasy,

"I purchased this product thinking it was the Burts Bees RADIANCE eye creme, which I have been using for quite some time and love. This eye cream is much too thick and greasy for my liking, and doesn't have the nice smell that the radiance eye creme has. I have been using it at night, and the skin around my eyes is nice and soft in the morning, but it does nothing for my wrinkles. I will be going back to the Radiance eye cream when this is gone."

"I was a little alarmed at the waxy consistency of this stuff at first, the royal jelly and various oils make it feel like you are applying BB's lip balm to your eyes, BUT, the stuff stays on and my undereye area feels extremely hydrated and smooth by morning. One reviewer commented that it does have a tendency to run a little, but I have not noticed any breakouts from it. I will definitely buy it again!"

"... but it just doesn't go on well enough to use as an eye cream. It's hard for me to want to use something around my eyes that has a sticky, grainy texture and that doesn't absorb well, even if the ingredients are high quality. And it was hard to put makeup on over it. After trying to get used to this for a few weeks, I finally gave up and now mix a bit with my regular moisturizer and use it on my legs, elbows, etc. It makes them silky smooth!"

"I am mixed on this product because I like the fact that it is natural and I feel that it is helpful to my under eye area. The thing I don't like about it is the gritty texture. It doesn't absorb very quickly, which is good and bad. I mainly use it at night."

"I hope they never stop making this eye cream. I suffered with an itchy red rash on my one eyelid for years. Nothing helped it at all. After using this product for just a short time, the itching and the rash completely went away. Also, my eyes are sensitive to almost all creams, but this one doesn't irritate my eyes at all. It is a heavier cream, but might work just as well if it was blotted with a tissue after applying. The consistency is a minor point with me because the cream is so healing."
