"I use this product for helping me to sleep during the day as I work the graveyard shift. I find it to be very effective and safe for long term use. Some over the counter sleep aids are not good taken for long periods of time, but I love this product for that. You can also increase or decrease your dosage depending on how deep you want to sleep and I also dont wake up groggy like some over the counter sleep aids. I also find that 5-HTP has a very calming effect on my moods, I am not as high strung. Fabulous product-I recommend to all graveyard workers."

"This product is priced pretty fairly, so I thought I'd give it a try. However, it makes me really sleepy and doesn't control my appetite at all. I really didn't like how it made me feel, so I never even finished the bottle."

"I take this for insomnia and overall mood. It has worked like a charm. This was the first brand I tried, and I am glad I did. I did have to cut the dose back to 25 mg - 50 mg at first instead of 100 mg, due to nausea (I opened the capsules and mixed the powder with water) , but that was only a temporary effect. I take 50 mg an hour before bedtime. I would urge people to do your research before taking it, but this brand worked for me and is a great value."

"I used to take the Natrol 5-HTP from the drugstore. That stuff was around $13 for 60 50mg capsules. So you can imagine my pleasure with being able to get the same effectiveness at a much lower cost!
Compared to the Natrol, the capsules are also approximately 30% smaller. Less filler?"
