"I took MSM several years ago to relieve knee pain; a few years ago a doctor told me it was useless to take MSM; said it wasn't effective, so trusting his judgement, I quit taking it. Recently I decided I needed to try it again because the pain was overwhleming. I started taking the MSM the first day I received it and I can honestly say at least 80% of my knee pain has been relieved. "First order of this product from VitaCost-- used to take tablets from Sam's Club (cheap), but realized that the VitaCost product is actually slightly less expensive. Also, I believe the absorption of this product in capsule form may be superior to a tablet form (the powder should be liquified for absorption faster than a solid tablet). Also easier to swallow than a large tablet. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this product. Only wish it was available in a 1,500 milligram strength."

"I take this product in combination with several others for hair growth (technically to keep my hair from breaking off prematurely). Since hair and nails are so closely related, I know for sure that something is working and working well. "Have been using MSM for 5 years now to ease the pain in my joints. Husband uses it also. We take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening and it works better than any other remedy we have ever tried and we are in our late 60's. "MSM was recommended to me by a health nutritionist who referred me to a clinical study that indicated it could potentially provide relief to joint soreness or joint pain. I take 6 capsules a day which is a heavy dosage but I work out 6 times a week and have no joint pain whatsoever. It took about 6 months to achieve this total relief. I would highly recommend over any of the other over highly touted supplements."
