"i was so excited when i first used this bar of soap, peppermint scent and it's all natural, lathers great, no residue feeling afterwards. i have hard water, well water so this bar was refreshing, but it lost it's scent after a week. not sure why the peppermint scent went away, but the bar still lathers great! I would buy it again. :)"

"dr. bronner's soaps smell great, lather great, rinse clean, are non-irritating, have helped a number of my skin conditions, and come from a great company. i recommend this soap to both my male and female friends because peppermint is a great unisex scent, leaves you feeling tingly-clean, and is a great deodorizer."

"I dont have sensitive skin, but the only thing we can use this soap for is handwashing, it burns delicate areas if you use it in the shower. I assume the peppermint is responsible for the burning, also dissapointing - the smell."

"I was expecting a very mild, hand-made type soap, but this stuff turned out to be too harsh for my sensitive skin. I'm going to use it for homemade laundry soap instead. Same thing with the other Dr. Bronner's bar soaps I bought."

"I bought a single bar for my boyfriend to try so we could compare it with his usual soap. He goes through the regular stuff ridiculously fast. The Dr. Bronner's bar lasted exactly twice as long as his favorite regular conventional bar soap. It lathered up exceptionally but he was a bit disappointed that it didn't give him the strong tingly feeling provided by Dr. B's liquid castile soap. Overall, he liked the Dr. B's bar much better than his usual soap. When we compared cost, the Dr. B's turns out to be about 20% more expensive than the regular bar... but we are willing to go with the stuff that is better for the planet and for the body (especially since he liked it much better anyway), and will be buying a large supply of peppermint bars for future cleansing."

"We love the fresh smell of this soap. These bars last much longer than some other natural soaps we have tried. You feel clean without film like some soaps leave. Highly recommend. Great value at this price. Supermarkets are at least a dollar more per bar in our area."

"I was surprised at my husband's reaction to this scent. He is not a peppermint fan so when I put this scent in his shower, I was curious why he didn't object. He said he liked the way it felt . . . a little tingly and definitely refreshing (and I like the way he smells). So I tried it and loved the clean, fresh feeling after a long, sweaty workout!"
