In recent scientific studies with post-menopausal women and young children, a specific combination of calcium citrate and calcium malate was found to be more beneficial for bone tissue than other forms of calcium. CCM Calcium™ is preferably taken at night, but may also be taken during the day with meals. Therefore, taking calcium supplements at bedtime offers added support until breakfast.

"It's difficult to find CCM b/c most companies add a poorly absorbable form of magnesium and/or synthetic isolated vitamin D. Source Naturals is the only company that I've found to carry just CCM and they are a relatively decent nutritional company."
