"Stevia, like saccharine or pink-packaged sweetners, is an acquired taste. But if you're used to those two, it can be acquired quickly. I wanted to stop ingesting artificial, chemical sweetners, no matter what they were derived from. Stevia is a natural plant extract, and does the job in my coffee. To my knowledge it has not changed my personality or affected my memory. If it has, I have forgotten about it or am too mellow to care."

"I've purchased several different types of stevia over the years. This one is convenient due to the squeeze bottle but I find that it's not consistent, so either I can't get the drops to come out or they come out too fast. It's also much more dilute than normal. Most other brands I've used are more concentrated so that I only use 4 drops in my cup of coffee compared to 15 drops of this one. Taste is good, not bitter."

"Stevita Stevia Liquid Extract in not expensive because it has a bitter taste and you can not possibly drink or eat any type of food you put it in. If a Stevia product does not have FOS (Fructooligosaccharides) in it, don't buy it! The FOS gives it a nice sweet taste and you need to use very little of it. I wasted a lot of money trying different brands of Stevia - it wasn't until I read about FOS that I was able to find the correct product."

"I would recommend Stevita brand liquid stevia for those who want to travel with it, because of the plastic bottle; and it is good. However, for my taste, the NSI brand is more concentrated so I don't need to use as much. I wish Vitacost would provide a plastic bottle for their NSI brand of liquid stevia, too. Once I'm done with Stevita, I'll probably go back to the NSI stevia."

"I was using the stevia that required refrigeration, but I found that it was sorely inconvenient (not keen on the powder version of stevia). I have to use more of this brand than the others, but I find the flavor is much better (lacks the bitter after taste of some brands) and is much more convenient. The price is also much better!"

"Because it's a liquid it's easy to use in cold or hot drinks or added in cooking or baking. Some stevias can have an odd or bitter aftertaste, but this one has none. The squeeze bottle makes it easy to dispense just the right amount of drops and is easy to take along when going out. It's my favorite!"

"This Stevia is weak. I have to use more than twice as much of it than the last stuff I bought, and it still doesn't taste quite right. I'd recommend purchasing stevia extract that is in glycerine, instead of this one, which is in water. The glycerine is a little sweet itself, so it gives a more well rounded flavor. I won't buy this product again."

"The clear liquid is easy to add to any beverage or dish with precise droplet control. It uses a natural grapefruit seed extract as a preservative. I have read that grapeseed extract increases absorption of many vitamins, minerals, and medicines. This is great if you add it to a hot tea or mineral supplement drink. If you are taking certain medications, it may affect them. Be sure to check with your doctor. There may be other possible benefits."
