Alvita Caffeine Free Tea Ginger Root -- 24 Tea Bags

Ginger Root Tea Bags * Caffeine Free Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a tropical perennial that grows from an aromatic, tuberous rhizome that is knotty shaped and buff colored. The name Ginger is derived from the Sansckrit "gringa" or horn and "vera" meaning body, in reference to the shape of the root. Ginger has a recorded history of use in China dating from the 4th century B.C. Used for hundreds of years as a spice for cooking, Ginger is also used for its soothing properties. Ginger is available fresh, dried ground and in dried pieces. It can be added to beverages, fruits, salads, meats, poultry, vegetables and is a favorite in stir-fry cooking. Combined with onions and garlic, it adds an agreeable warming flavor to any main entrée. For more than 75 years, long before it became fashionable, Alvita was championing the profound health-giving properties of herbal teas. Alvita travels to the far reaches of the globe for the finest herbs, the best growers, the most precious sources. Small wonder that so many consumers trust the Alvita name. Today, it stands for more than 100 different teas, including classic single herb varieties, and our unique Alvita blends. The package you hold in your hand combines ancient herbal wisdom with modern science, and brings to you all the richness and benefits of herbal teas. This philosophy is the very reason why you will find sensible, English pillow style tea bags that are oxygen bleached, not chlorine treated. And why you won't find any strings, tags or staples. We thank you for choosing our product, but more importantly, we thank you for the trust you've put in the herbal values that we all share. Alvita. Natural Herb Teas that are Good for You and the Environment.

"This tea worked wonders on my stomach if I drank it after a big meal, or when it was upset. I have all ready introduced another friend of mine to it for his own digestive issues.

The taste was good, but think some people might be put off with the spiciness of pure ginger. I occasionally blend it with a few other herbs of my own."

"Alvita is a very good company with a large assortment of teas. Ginger Root tea is very enjoyable and is good for the digestion in the evenings after your bigger meal of the day.
Alvita tea comes in easy to use tea bags.
Also I have lost 20 lbs. in 44 days since drinking the tea instead of having snacks while watching TV.

"I put a Ginger Root tea bag in each cup of coffee I drink in the morning. It adds vip to the taste and gives me the benefits of ginger. I used to add a Ginger Root tea bag to my green tea and it was good, but I had to quit green tea when I went on cumuden.

I have also used the contents of tea bag in recipies that call for ginger"
